Biography

Dr. Sandhya Sriram is currently a consultant in the entrepreneurship and biotech/foodtech space at SciGlo Pte. Ltd., and a Visiting Research Scientist at the Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand. She is a serial entrepreneur. 
She is the co-founder of Shiok Meats Pte. Ltd. (her third startup), Singapore, the first cell-based seafood & meat company in SEA. With her at the helm as the Group CEO (2018-2024), Shiok Meats has raised US$30 Million in funding since its inception in 2018, from a global suite of investors. She successfully completed two M&As and had a successful exit on Shiok Meats via a merger.
A stem cell biologist and scientist by training and education, a former business development professional, a serial entrepreneur, and a thought leader - all in one - Sandhya was named as part of the 2021 class of Bloomberg New Economy Catalysts, featured on TIME magazine and Forbes Women in Tech.
